- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity & shipping.
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfilment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiency.
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Assisting with deliveries where required.
- Communicate with suppliers to schedule receiving.
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
- Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
- Plan future capacity requirements
- Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 5+ years warehouse management experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills
- people management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas

- planning and organizing skills to effectively manage the flow of stock
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or Engineering.
- Supply chain/Logistics certificate is a plus
