Job Description

• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
• Administration and management of Microsoft services
• Storage array management ( Pure Storage arrays, Brocade Fabric Switches)
• Backup Management and monitoring ( Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain storage, Quantum Tape library, and Encryption cluster)
• Administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
• Exchange 2016 and OS deployment
• User Access management
• System health Reporting
• Windows failover clusters
• Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager
• Certificate Administration
• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining SCOM, SCCM/WSUS
• Creation, provisioning, and management of Hyper-V/VMware virtual machines
• Capacity planning, project execution, and management
• Change and incident management
• System configuration and documentation
• Creation and updating of policy and procedures for the system management team.
• Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements

• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments.
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX)
• Solid Cloud experience, preferably in AWS
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, cfengine, Chef)
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python)
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
