Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Responsible for the review and approval of interim payments, project variations, and other financial matters.
Lead in the analysis and evaluation of all contractor claims and other contractual matters.
Take care of the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
Responsible for project finances and contractual relationships for construction companies.
Manage the costs of raw materials and construction projects to ensure they are within the budget.
Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.
Prepare tender and contract documents in accordance with the building and construction regulations.
Provide advice on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and the management of claims required.
Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
