Offshore HVAC Technician

Job Description

Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
Assisting with customers' queries.

Requirements

3 years of experience in Maintenance and troubleshooting HVAC systems in offshore/onshore sites
Offshore experience is mandatory.
Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in a similar role.
Technically qualified with ITI / Diploma in Electrical
Good communication (Verbal & Written) & interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, electrical, and other applicable equipment.
